How do I get cloudy glasses from the dishwasher clear again ?

Well, there are 2 answers to that,It is either a FILM on the Glass or the glass has become ETCHED.If it is a film,What I do is,dump a whole bottle of white vinegar in the dishwasher, load up all the cloudy dishes, turn on the dishwasher to HIGH TEMP/SCRUB,then,clear the house.(It will stink). If this doesn't work.the dishes have been etched and there is no fix for them.In the future, have your water tested and make sure you are using the recommended amount of 'Jet Dry' or like, use the hotest water and use Cascade only (or Electra sol) Make sure your water heater is at least set at 140 degrees IF your dishwasher does NOT have a built-in heater,(120 degrees if it does)How do I get cloudy glasses from the dishwasher clear again ?
wash by hand.....then change your / clean your filterHow do I get cloudy glasses from the dishwasher clear again ?
First of all don't use a cheap, generic dishwasher soap. Use liquid Cascade with shine shield. This one keeps my glasses nice and clear. I tried the powder Cascade that claims it is their ';Best'; and it caused film on my glasses. I wrote to the company and complained about this problem and I switched back to the liquid.
You can always change your dishwashing detergent.. However, this has happened to me before and the problem never cleared up until I had a repair man come out..... Something is wrong with your dishwasher... Either get it repaired or buy a new one. Good luck..
Have you tried Jet Dry? Works for me.
You can't are the detergent basically scratches the Glass.

Don't put Good Glassware into the Dishwasher.
You can't because they are scratched. Glasses need to be washed by hand
wash them by hand
you cant I'm afraid the cloudiness is tiny scratches.

probably can't, as the cloudiness is usually tiny etching. This happens to me when I forget to put salt in the water softener, and also when I use too much dishwasher detergent in the cycle. The dishwasher repairman said I only need a tablespoon or less, not the whole dispenser full of detergent. (I think it depends on the hardness of your water.)

Try adding salt to your softener, using less detergent in the dishwasher cycle and adding a rinse aid. Or, buy new glasses!
you buy some more cause they are done
