I am interested in a wholesale place in or around the Washington DC area. Where can I buy clear glass bottles with screw caps for bottling homemade Honey wine (Mead)?
Many brewer's supply shops have access to or sell these types of bottles. http://www.northernbrewer.com/wine-bottling.html is one example.


Another good thing to try with mead is a swing cap. They are, on the whole, more expensive than screw caps- but they are more attractive, and allow the mead to be preserved easier. With a screw cap, you have to drink the whole bottle pretty much in one sitting, or it can go bad.
