My eyesight isnt clear after new contacts/glasses?

I recently went to the eye doctor and got my contacts /glasses. I am not able to see clearly with these contacts. This is my first time ever wearing them and do i need time to adjust and see clearly? shouldnt i see clearly as soon as i put them in my eyes?My eyesight isnt clear after new contacts/glasses?
I would say so because that is the whole point in getting them. It is possible they could have made a mistake or something. I'm not sure what your visual acuity is but it could also be the ';best corrected vision'; they could get from your eye. I would definitely bring that up to the doctor because having the wrong prescription in your eyes could do more harm then help. Good Luck!My eyesight isnt clear after new contacts/glasses?
Give it about a week. Often you just need to give your eyes time to adjust. If your vision doesn't clear up within a few days, though, definitely bring it up to your ophthalmologist because it's very possible they made a mistake, either with the prescription itself or the filling of it. That's actually what happened to me -- my first pair of glasses were perfect, I noticed much clearer vision the instant I put them on. After about five years or so, my eyesight had changed enough so that I needed a different prescription, which I got in March of this year. Although objects were sharper, something just didn't feel ';right'; but I assumed I just needed to give it time. Now I'm looking at getting yet another prescription after I save up some money for new glasses because something wasn't quite right with this pair, and now it's messed up my eyesight again.

So, yeah. Not trying to scare you or anything, just warn you that if you don't notice a substantial difference (for the better) within the next few days, tell your eye doctor right away.
