I was searching online for tips or ideas, haven't found any yet - anything you've done or sites you love?I have a set of clear, glass ball ornaments - I'd like to decorate them - any ideas?
You can put small amounts of different colors of acrylic paint inside. Swirl them around to make a marble like effect. Place upside down on a paper cup to let the excess paint drain out, then let them dry completely.
Hand paint designs on them.
I also like the previous answer about etching. I think I will try that myself. :)I have a set of clear, glass ball ornaments - I'd like to decorate them - any ideas?
In addition to the paint swirling technique:

and just decoupaging on them, polymer clayers do a lot of different things with glass ball ornaments too--from covering them completely with patterned clay, to gluing on molded bits of baked clay, to dropping a mini light in the top and using translucent colors of clay on the outside, to making figures by using the balls as bodies to which heads/etc are added, etc., etc.
If you want to check out examples and lessons for some of the possibilities, check out these two pages at my polymer clay ';encyclopedia'; site:

I engrave them. You can get glass etching kits at any large craft store. Be careful, as they use acid to do the job. I on the other hand, use a dremel and free hand them with diamond and stone bits.

You could hand-paint little designs on them... That's all I can think of, but it would be pretty!
you say you got some clear balls eh, interesting.
