If you buy Wayfarer (clear) glasses....?

If I buy some Wayfarer glasses, do I need to have a prescription or something? Or are they just clear glass? I have regular glasses, but i want some wayfarer's for style. so idk if i should get them to actually wear or just to buy. is there any online stores where i can get some Wayfarer style prescription lenses for cheap?
