Does drinking 8 glasses of pure water actually help keep your skin clear and purified or is it just a myth?

Have any of you tried it and it worked?Does drinking 8 glasses of pure water actually help keep your skin clear and purified or is it just a myth?
Although that is one of the effects they're other reasons its good for you, our body needs water to regulate body temperature and to provide the means for nutrients to travel to all your organs. Water also transports oxygen to your cells, removes waste, and protects your joints and organs. So in short yes, it helps clear the impurities in your body and basically gives your skin a clear complexion and glow.Does drinking 8 glasses of pure water actually help keep your skin clear and purified or is it just a myth?
it sure can't hurt, and does you good in other ways too.
It helps. But you should be drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day for your overall health, not just for your skin.
Hi, i haven't tried it because quite honestly, 8 glasses is a hell of a lot of plain boring water. However, drinking water would help keep your skin clear. Try drinking half the amount as well as what you would normally drink and i'm sure you'd see a difference.
ii thiink iit mayy workk a lil becauuse drinnkiing waterr wiil do yya goood butt ii donnt knoow iif iits entirelly truue? srry :]
drinking water def. isnt a bad thing for you, so would do it anyway

it can make you hydrated and make your skin look healthier

but...

as far as clear and purified, i wouldn't depend on it
i am liking what i am hearing! (the otehr answers..)

i also hear the same. as well as helps keep off water weight and water retension. also helps with weightloss. so, i'm gonna give it a go! and now hearing the reduces wrinkles? i am 15 and if i keep it up i can prevent too many in the future (:
Yes drinking at least 4 to 8 cups of water a day is good for you. It keeps you hydrated and keeps you from feeling tried. Pure water is good but also tap water is just as good. Add some fresh lemon juice to water or club soda is also good.
It's a myth. It first turned up in a televsion advert and since then, scientists have tried to discover whether it's a fact or not and couldn't find any evidence and have not been able to.

There is scientific fact which shows that at only 2% dehydration, concentration falls by up to 25% so it's a good idea to drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated but it is unlikely to do anything to help your skin.
yes dont worry my tooth hurts too it will proberly take a few days to get used to
I go through at least six 10 fl oz of water a day, and my acne seems to be going away.
I believe it but most of us don't do it. Try it for a month and see don't depend on someone else.
it does work and it lessens the wrinkles when you are older
